Campaign Update by Jon Husted, candidate for Ohio Secretary of State
April 2, 2010 by Montgomery GOP · Leave a Comment
We are less than 30 days from primary election day, and we are making exciting progress thanks to Republicans like you who are helping us be successful and build our ranks.
Tuesday, May 4 will be an important opportunity for Ohio voters to show their desire for a change in leadership. But you don’t have to wait until then to make your voice heard. You can request an absentee ballot today by contacting the board of elections. To download a request form, please click here. Once you have filled out your request, you can send it to the Montgomery County Board of Elections.
While I continue to travel to all corners of the state and am energized by the enthusiasm from Republicans across Ohio, I have been especially happy to be a part of several of the Montgomery County Republican Party’s events – including the recent Lincoln-Reagan Day Dinner with special guest Congressman John Boehner. We had a record-number of our friends and neighbors join us, and I am thankful for the continued hard work of those at the Montgomery County Party who put together these successful events.
In addition to growing our team, my campaign’s list of endorsements continues to swell. I am thankful for the support we have from Moms for Ohio, Ohio Right to Life PAC, the National Rifle Association, the Buckeye Firearms Association, the Ohio Gun Collectors Association, Ohioans for Concealed Carry, Ohio Veterans United and the Cleveland Police Patrolmen’s Association among others. I am also proud to have the endorsement of the Ohio Republican Party and every county party that has endorsed in the race for Secretary of State. For a full listing of endorsements, please visit www.hustedforohio.com.
We are working hard to give you a winning effort on the campaign trail. If you would like to volunteer for the campaign or know of someone who might be interested, please contact us at (614) 456-1229.
